Twinny, a developer of autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solutions, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with global logistics company LX Pantos to collaborate on warehouse automation.
The agreement was signed on April 8 at the LX Gwanghwamun Building in Seoul, with representatives from both companies in attendance. The partnership focuses on building a “Tech-Driven Logistics” environment by integrating automation technologies into logistics operations.
Twinny specializes in AMR solutions for logistics and manufacturing environments, offering systems capable of precise indoor navigation without requiring additional infrastructure. These technologies are designed to support the automation of repetitive tasks in warehouse operations.
LX Pantos, a subsidiary of the LX Group, operates a global logistics network and provides integrated logistics services to a wide range of industries worldwide.
Under the agreement, Twinny will deploy five units of its “NARGO Order Picking” autonomous mobile robots at an LX Pantos logistics center. The solution is intended to support repetitive transport and picking tasks, contributing to improved workflow efficiency within warehouse operations.
Both companies plan to evaluate the initial deployment and explore opportunities to expand the scope and scale of automation based on operational outcomes.
Cheon Young-seok, CEO of Twinny, stated, “Through this collaboration, we aim to expand the application of autonomous mobile robots in logistics environments and enhance the practical effectiveness of automation tailored to real operational needs.”
