As commercial and industrial (C&I) solar markets continue to evolve, the integration of inverters and energy storage systems (ESS) is becoming a central focus. 2026 Green Energy Expo was held from April 22 to 24, 2026, at EXCO, where companies presented system-level approaches combining generation, storage, and operational support.
At the exhibition, RP5 and FOX ESS introduced their collaborative strategy for the Korean market, focusing on inverter supply, certification, and service integration.
FOX ESS, a global provider of inverters, energy storage systems, EV chargers, and heat pumps, highlighted its on-grid inverter lineup tailored to the Korean market. The 65 kW and 125 kW models were presented as core products designed for C&I solar systems.
Carrie Zhu, Senior Key Account Manager at FOX ESS, said, “The Korean market is mainly driven by on-grid photovoltaic systems, and our 65 kW and 125 kW inverters are well aligned with the requirements of the C&I sector.”
In Korea, RP5 serves as the official distributor, handling certification, product supply, and after-sales services. The company has established an operational framework that extends beyond equipment delivery to include installation support and maintenance.
Oh Jae-young, Director at RP5, said, “We provide a comprehensive solution covering modules, inverters, and technical services for the Korean solar market.” He added, “Since the product launch, approximately 180 MW of FOX ESS inverters have been deployed in Korea, supported by a structured warranty and service system.”
Warranty policy and service operations were also emphasized. RP5 applies a localized warranty structure and manages field services through its own technical teams. A dedicated monitoring system is provided to enable real-time tracking of power generation and integration with grid control systems.
ESS solutions were presented alongside inverter technologies. These systems store generated electricity and supply it according to demand, supporting energy management in industrial environments where consumption patterns vary.
Lee Hyun-seok, Deputy Manager of the ESS Team at RP5, said, “ESS plays a key role in extending the usability of generated power, and integration with inverters is a critical factor in system design.”
Future plans were also outlined during the exhibition. RP5 aims to expand its presence in the Korean market by increasing supply volume while strengthening its service and support structure.
At the 2026 Green Energy Expo, RP5 and FOX ESS presented an approach centered on integrating inverters, ESS, and operational services, reflecting the ongoing shift toward comprehensive system-based solutions in the C&I solar sector.
