German tooling technology company HAIMER has announced its transition to second-generation leadership while reaffirming its commitment to remaining a 100% German family-owned business.
As part of the leadership transition, company ownership will be transferred to Andreas Haimer and Kathrin Haimer, who will serve as both shareholders and Co-Chief Executive Officers. Having played key roles in the company's management for many years, the two executives will now lead HAIMER's next phase of growth.
Company founders Franz Haimer and Claudia Haimer will continue serving on the management board through the end of 2027 to support a smooth transition. Afterward, they will join the company's Advisory Board, where they will continue contributing to HAIMER's long-term strategic development.
According to HAIMER, the transition is intended to strengthen business continuity, maintain the company's independence as a family-owned enterprise, and support long-term strategic decision-making.
The company provides integrated tooling solutions for the machine tool industry, including high-precision tool holders, shrink-fit technology, balancing technology, tool presetting systems, digital tool management, and automation solutions.
HAIMER also continues to advance its vision of the "Tool Room of the Future," connecting every stage of the manufacturing process—from tool preparation to machining—to improve transparency, productivity, and process efficiency.
By maintaining its family-owned structure, HAIMER said it intends to continue building long-term partnerships with customers while investing in technology development and sustainable growth.
Andreas Haimer, Co-Chief Executive Officer of HAIMER, said, "Our family business has grown through long-term trust, technological innovation, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. We will continue building on these values while preparing HAIMER for the next generation of manufacturing."
The company added that it will continue pursuing its long-standing philosophy of "Quality Wins," reinforcing its commitment to precision engineering and customer partnership that has defined the company since its founding in 1977.
